9/17為國際無車日，老街將舉辦「無車心體驗」封街派對，自9:00起道路封閉，禁止汽機車進入，交管範圍為中正路、公明街及環河道路全線，敬請多加利用大眾交通工具並步行前往。
On foot: from Tamsui MRT Station→Zhongzheng Road (approximately a 15-minute walk)
Tamsui Old Street will be blocked for an alfresco party that starts at 9am on September 17, 2011. Motor vehicles will be denied access to the Old Street area, which is surrounded by Zhongzheng Road, Gongming Street, and the entire section of Huanhe Road. It is advised that visitors approach the area by public transport and on foot.
